Coast live oaks framing the Salinas Valley from the ranch ridge
Santa Lucia Highlands · Monterey County, California

Under the oaks,
the valley is yours.

A private 95-acre estate in the golden hills above River Road — fifteen minutes from downtown Salinas, a world away from everything else. We host one group at a time. Never two.

Exclusive Use

All yours. Gate to ridgeline.

When you book the ranch, you book all of it — every building, every trail, every acre of oak and open grass. There are no other guests, no shared spaces, no one to meet at the gate but your own people. Just the hills, the quiet, and whoever you brought with you.

The Ranch

Ninety-five acres of working oak country.

This is a working ranch, not a resort. The hills do what they've always done — turn green in February, gold in June. What's changed is who gets to watch: you, your people, and no one else. Four spaces, one property, a single set of keys.

The Ranch House

The main residence — full kitchen, long-table dining, wide porches facing the evening light. Where the day begins and ends.

The Fire Circle

Chairs, benches and hay bales around an open fire, ringed by oaks. Where the evening lands after dinner and stays there.

The Oak Grove

A stand of coast live oaks older than the county itself. Long dinners, morning sessions, vows, and everything in between.

The Creek Flat

Open ground along the seasonal creek — space for tents, games, stargazing, or nothing at all. The quietest acre on the property.

Corporate Retreats

Offsites that actually feel off-site.

Your team, the whole ranch, and nothing on the calendar but the work that matters. No hotel ballroom, no shared lobby, no other company's lanyards at the bar. Fly into Monterey, be under the oaks in forty minutes.

Extended Stays

Stay long enough to slow down.

Five nights to a full month, with the ranch entirely to yourself. Room for a family gathering that doesn't feel rushed, a sabbatical with real quiet, or a production crew that needs a base camp with a view.

In Motion

Stand where the camera stood.

Three short pans, shot on an April morning from the top of the property, the back ridge, and the lower meadow. No music, no edit — just what it sounds like up there.

Where you'll be

Rural by every measure but one.

The ranch sits in the hills off River Road, in the Santa Lucia Highlands wine country. It feels remote because it is — but the drive back to civilization is shorter than most commutes.
